| Thought I'd post this pic. I love the green of my bamboo when everything else turns brown. This is my 1.5 year old "Green Panda" Fargesia Rufa pic taken tonight.

| It's a good species. I have a row of them planted in a filtered, eastern exposure. They take a few years to establish. I have been dividing the plants for a couple of years now in order to expand the hedge. |

Looks like another Utah Bamboo nut

| Ocimum, it is beautiful!!! I am looking forward to mine getting that large. Is that a basjoo banana to the left? I have a basjoo planted about 10 feet to the left of mine, it is currently covered with it's winter coat. :) |

Yes this is the small one Here is the larger of the two plants taken the same day.
