I have black bamboo to trade for other bamboo varieties. I am specifically looking for variegated and Buddha Belly, but am open to any other variety.

GAil, I would like to get a little amount of this bamboo if you would be interested in sharing or selling. I don't know anything about bamboo such as how fast it grows or how aggressive it is, but I still want some. Will black bamboo grow in zone 7?

I would like some of your black bamboo. I don't have any bamboo to trade. How would you get it to me and how much would that cost?

Sodbuster, there are several different kinds of black bamboo. You need to find out if this is a tropical or temperate type before youll know if it grows in your area. Phyllostachys nigra is the most common form and should grow fine if you are indeed a zone 7. How aggressive it is will depend on growing conditions and will vary from plant to plant.
