Is there a dwarf variety of chinese goddess?

I bought and planted 10 three gallon chinese goddess today. They were tagged with its common name. My neighbor has a couple of mature clumps and they must be 8 ft. in height. A local grower has it listed as 6 ft. in height. I went to another retail nursery that had what looked like what I bought and the owner said they were a dwarf variety only getting to 4 ft. in height. They were not tagged. The foliage looked the same. Can anyone shed any light on this?

Not a dwarf variety of Chinese Goddess(Bambusa multiplex 'Riviereorum'), but there are some smaller varieties of Bambusa multiplex that are similar looking to Chinese Goddess.

B. multiplex 'Tiny Fern' and B. multiplex 'Tiny Fern Striped' both grow to about 4 feet maximum and look very similar to Chinese Goddess.

Listed growth heights can vary with different environmental conditions, they are basically a 'standard' as to what a plant will generally grow to be.
