WANTED: Banana ssed or pups

Posted by gulfcoast_newbie Zone 9 (My Page) on

I am a newbie to zone 8b/9a looking for a trade for any/all type of edible banana seeds or pups. As I have never grown banana before I am hoping for a common type like cavendish but am open minded. I would also welcome any growing tips/instructions. I have 1 each of the following (potted) citrus to trade;

Lemon (meyer) - 18 months old
Tangerine (clementine) - 12 months old
Grapefruit (unknown variety) - 18 months old

...as well as what (seed) is on my trade list. If you are near Pensacola, I would consider an in-person exchange.

I am in Escambia County. I believe that the fig are Alma or a similar variety but as they were in the garden of a home that I just moved into,..I could not promise 100% that they are Alma.
