11 months ago I bought a Saba from Going Bananas and planted it in an open area of my yard. It grew heartily all summer despite lower rainfall than normal.

On Dec 9th, the National Weather service here in Charleston recorded 19F. The Saba was frozen.

Here we are, one month later. The Saba has put out one entirely new green leaf. The ice creams, basjoos, ele ele next to the house are also showing green(not too surprised). One basjoo has even had a flower open since dec 9th, go figure.
