| Hi, I'm trying to go into growing tropicals that I can just dig up and store in the winter and was Wundering what tropical plants look good when planted by bananas? I was thinking canna or something but I'm not sure. |

| I prefer planting tree peonies around my musa basjoo banana plants because they do like partial shade however you do need to cut down on the bananas every few years as their corm mass will expand exponentially if you just leave it alone. Here's a picture of them. Tree peonies can sometimes be more expensive however I think they look well with bananas as they provide a huge contrast in appearance. |
