Tricking Banana Not to Flower

I'm new to the forum. I started collecting banana plants about two years ago and since then I've just grown to love them more and more. None of my banana plants have flowered yet and I have grown to love some of them so much that I don't want them to fruit, but just keep them for their foliage. It's kind of sad to see them grow and then to have to chop

them down afer they fruit. I'm just wondering if it's possible to cut off their flowers so they don't fruit and if they don't fruit, perhaps they don't have to die? I don't plan to do that to all of my bananas except a couple of them that I like very much. Your expertise in my question will be very much appreciated. Thank you.
