Best Bananas (besides Basjoo) for S.F. Bay Area?

I am planning on growing some banana plants around a small pond this summer. Anybody some of the best edible and ornamental bananas for the San Francisco Bay Area? I was thinking 'Ice Cream' and 'Dwarf Orinoco', but I don't know if they would do well here. Except from the record cold we've been having, most normal winters for me go down to about 26-28 at the coldest.

I would suggest Musella lasiocarpa (Chinese banana) and Himalayan banana (sikkimenisis). Both are cool tolerant. Chinese banana is also has a reliable and long bloom period.
