Hello, I have 4 banana trees, these are first 1's i have ever owned. I am still waiting on my first harvest. My largest tree the Misi still has no pups coming off of her. My ice cream tree has 3 and is almost 1.5ft smaller than the Misi. I also have an apple and a williams hybrid but they to are still pretty small and have no pups. They are all located in different parts of the back yard. The soil around the misi seems to be pretty compact vs. the ice cream that has a sandier dirt. Can the soil be to compact for the new pup to come out. The Misi seems to be extremely happy just no pups. New leaves every couple days. I have only had these since NOV 07 am I over analyzing this situation or should the pups be here already. The lawn man hit 1 of the pups last week w/ weedwacker...but it has already shot a new leaf. here are a few pics i have a few more on blog here is the link
