regrowth of old plant?

Hi,

I chopped down a plant at about the 3 ft. level after it had fruited. Now it is starting to grow out of the middle of the stump. If I leave it will it turn into a full plant and give me more bananas?

Probably. Let it be and see what it does. Normally the stalk dies after flowering but the corm will produce more pups.Im not certain at what point the stalk dies after flowering.Since you chopped it, could be a staggering , comic death, last push before croaking over. However, corm should give you replacements.
