Did you do it on purpose? Experimenting?

Experimenting. I knew from past experience just how quickly the dead leaves burn...and how cutting them off at the end of winter, that I seemed to "injure" some of the psuedostem...we'll see how it works out, now that they are calling for 31 degrees on Wilmington Island Thurdsday morning....I'll run the irrigation system and out a lot of 58 degree water around the yard...hopefully keep me a couple of degrees warmer. I'll let you know what varieties took the cold and the burning ( if any) and came back from the trunk...and not the ground.
