I have an Orinoco that is coming back after the awful winter. I cut the pseudo-stem back to healthy tissue. Now the center of the stem is being pushed up. Should I cut it back further or just wait and let the leaf emerge? I am new at bananas so I'm still at the beginning of the learning curve.
