I ordered a Dwarf Cavendish Banana tree, she was not too big (About one gallon pot) I saw what I thought was a weed and almost plucked it out until I saw how weird looking it was. So I kept it, only to find out that it was another baby Banana tree. So I left well enough alone. Well this baby is now ALMOST the size of her Mother, the trouble is, I have it in a two gallon pot and now Mommy is leaning over. Neither one looks sick and both are pushing out leaves ALL the time. Should I just replant in a bigger pot, or are they OK? Do I have to cut baby away from Mommy?
To be Honest I am rather afraid to cut the pup away in fear of killing both trees. That would kill me in the end. ;)
