75% humidity wow, thats pretty humid. Don't you have a problem with mold? I keep mine around 60-65 but anything higher has always left mold around the windows and even on the walls.

So 65% humidity is enough for the little guy? Thats good to know.

yeah that should be good. I've had mine inside a room with a southern exposure for most of the winter. They have grown steadily through the winter and have been producing one leaf each 1.5 weeks approximately. I have anywhere from 50-65% humidity and I use a fan at nights. They get a bit of sun. Since its winter the southern exposure doesn't help much when its cloudy everyday so I also have a floor stand lamp with 3 CF bulbs in it that I leave on during the darker days. With this setup I have had good success with bananas, and also palms indoors. As for the fertilizer I have heard that a lower first number and higher last number are better, but as you say there are lots of different opinions on this. I fertilize a tiny bit with each watering.
