I was given a little Banana plant and I forgot about it. I left it in the back of my car for about a week. The leafs are all dead on it but the corm is still moist. It is about 6 inches tall. I planted it in a pot and put it in a bright window. Can it still be saved? Is there anything I can do for it? Any help would be appreciated!!! Thank you!!! Diana55

YES, the plant can still be saved. All that matters is the corm. As long as it's still firm, the banana has a chance. Keep us posted.

Hey Gardenguy...The corm is still firm. I hope I can save it!!! Should I fertilize it or anything? I put in in a pot with good soil, is that enough? The soil has some fertilizer in it already. I will keep you posted!!! Diana55
