it was not as big of a risk for me, but yesterday, I too was planting bananas. Our temps have been 50 low-80 high range and I was planting some a little more hardy than you.

What went in, dwarf namwah, pitogo, goldfinger(?), misi luki, and praying hands. I'm keeping my SDC in the pot, I also have a dwarf Jamaican red, not quite sure yet but it might stay in the pot also. I hope the weather stays nice for both of us.

Lucky you guys. Our local "crazy yard" guy has already but out his many plants in the ground. I have been wanting to harden off my potted bananas but now we're supposed to dip into the 30's every night for a week. Oh how I would love to live in a microclimate where weather is more consistent.

Since I transplanted the banans on Apr.1, nothing wrong
has happened to them and they are healthily growing.
The climate has become a little bit warmer, 50F/80F.
