| I have ordered some banana seeds Musa Coccinea-Red Banana and Pink Velveteen. Just wondering if anyone here has ever tried growing them and how well they did? Going to try them in containers and see what happens. Could be fun to try anyway. Something different for me. I'm in zone 8.
Thinks for any info. Dorothy |

| They take a little more than your average seed, here's a link that should help. |
Here is a link that might be useful: How to germinate Musa seed.

| That last link was for indoor germination which people do in the winter, and sometime in the summer. If your temps outside are fluctuating right now(between, night-day), and your not freezing, then they will germinate outdoors with natural temp fluctuation. The key to get them to germinate is the tempature fluctuation. |

| Okay, thanks! |
