SDC is very difficult to flower in a pot and is prone to choking. They need constant warm temps and sunlight to flower. The winter time is especially hard on them. I tried a Dwarf Lady Finger a few years ago. I bought it from Logee's and it was a tissue culture plant. I have container grown it for 2 years and over winter it in my greenhouse. It is showing signs of flowering but it too appears to be choking. It is only 3 feet in height and was easy to overwinter. You might try that one.

You could also try Viente Cohol or Raja puri which I think is in the general ladyfinger family.
