When and how to seperate pups.

I have pups coming up around my main plant. These were outside in the ground through winter. When should I serperate the pups? They are about 3 inches tall right now.

Wait until they are at least a foot tall before you try to separate them. But your best bet is to leave at least 2 of them alone. After the main plant flowers and dies, they are the replacements.
