I planted my Pisang Ceylon into the ground last summer after having grown it in a pot for many months. It's been growing very slowly ever since. When the temperature dipped to the mid 30's, this is one banana that didn't take it too well. When it came around, it's looking weirder than ever. I don't know if there's anything wrong with it. The leaves look limpy and weak and the trunk looks like it's going to dry up soon. I don't know if it's going to die soon. The pups showed up last summer, but somehow just got stalled until few months back when one of them decided to shoot up. The pup is looking good. My main concern is with the mother plant. She hasn't even flowered yet. I don't know if this variety has the habit of dying off before fruiting. The Gran Nain did it on me, leaving me three pups to attend to. Any advice for my Pisang Ceylon? Thanks.
