Bananas at Lowes

I have bought several bananas at Lowes in the past, and they have been of exceptional quality, quite reasonably priced (about $15 for a several foot plant well rooted in a five gallon container), and available in a number of varieties. This is the time of year Lowes gets these bananas in, and I heartily recommend a look. The bananas I bought from Lowes came from Going Bananas.

Interesting. Do you know what varieties of bananas you purchased? I didn't know that going bananas did the supplying.

I bought a dwarf Cavendish and a Goldfinger. There were 6 varieties at the Lowes I visited.

Wow, I didn't know that Lowes had varieties. Usually it's a dwarf or super dwarf cavendish. What Lowes is this? I assume that the nm by your name means New Mexico?

I bought a chinese yellow at Home depot, $24.99, TONS of pups and very healthy looking. Now that the flooding has stopped I hope to get it into the garden this weekend. I'll have to buzz over to the mainland and see what Lowes has. They had little prince at Home depot also.
Last week the Lowes in Texas city had penta for 25cents!
Thanks for the heads up!
Tally HO!
