California Gold Banana pup question

I just received my California Gold Banana pup from an auction on eBay. I planted it but there is a curve to it, probably the way the pup curves out from the mother plant? My question is- should I do anything special to it to start it out right to fix the curve or will it do that on its own?

It should be fine. Give it lot of sun. My Ca. Gold was slow to get started when I first started growing it but once established, it pups like crazy.
