| I'm a banana tree newbie. We were given two by a friend, who got them from a friend, so we really don't know what variety they are. He had just brought them out of his basement from wintering, wrapped in plastic. We repotted with good soil, and watered -- but only one of them is sprouting new leaves. Is the other a lost cause, or do they sometimes take a while to "come back" from their naps?
thanks |

| Hey! It is too soon to know whether or not the other one is a lost cause. Is the banana outside? Is it still cold at night? Until you actively see growth, hardly water at all if at all so the roots don't rot. Zach |
