Yellow leaves beginning

Hi, I am new here. I'm from the UK and I live in the south of the British Isles. It is concerning me as a few of the leaves have started to turn yellow, and I have no idea why. I water it when it is needed and feed it once a week with Miracle grow. Today I have giving it an iron feed as this prevents yellowing further. Have I done the right thing or will my Musa Basjoo now die??

I have some bananas w/ yellowing leaves too. I was watering them everday because it was very hot. Now I'm going to every other day. Keep in mind that these are freshly dug plants.

Perhaps the yellow leaves are older leaves going through their natural life cycle as they prepare to die?
