Transplanting Banana Palm

migolfergirl

HI!

I've had a very healthy, happy banana palm for years, and suddenly "he" started to have large fronds that bent over. The fronds looked healthy, no insects or other pests. I have not changed the watering/feeding routine that he's had for years.

He sits in a 12" pot and I think maybe I need to consider putting him in a 14" pot.

Can anyone comment? He looks VERY healthy, but I have suddenly lost two BIG fronds in a week. And I'm worried!

This is an indoor plant, gets plenty of light, food, etc.

Lots of new leaves unfurling right now, too.

HELP!!!!
