This is probably not what you want to hear but all musas produce pups and I don't think you can stop them from doing so. If you want something that doesn't pup you should be growing ensetes instead.

I grow a lot of nanners in pots cause they take over otherwise. To keep them from pupping I mulch the heck out of them with newspapers. Works MOST of the time.
Or you can just cut them off and trade them off.
