Help on selecting Banana.....

Is there a Banana tree that will live outside in the ground year round in an area that has some snow and ice. I live in upstate SC. Our lows in the winter are usually in the high thirties or low forties. for a few days we will get into the low twenties when a cold front passes through.

If there is what do you have to do to it.

I don't know because it is warmer than that here but if anything will, it wil be either basjoo or musella. Musella will die down each year and then come back. Maybe Basjoo will lose it's leaves but retain it's stalk.
