we purchased two bananas 6 years ago from a local nursery, the first two years, they came back in full strength and looked great The two plants were oginally planted 20 feet from each other. The next few years they began getting deformed leaves, the wouldn't fully form, or leaves would not open from both plants. they usually pull out of it around the 6th leaf or so, and begin having normal leaves. The plants die back in winter completely and we get new shoots from the root, never from the orginal stalk.

Now we have a no leaf banana, what is wrong with my bananas. I have pictures, but can't figure out how to put on this forum
