Basjoos from cuttings

I have a few leaves on my basjoos that are wind torn and they seem burned also - Is it possible to cut the leave close down to the side of the plant - cut the leave down smaller than dip the bottom in rooting hormone (which type should I use) then stick it in moist vermiculite? Would this work or is there another approach I should take?

Nope. Sorry, but you can't root leaf cuttings in any way.

That's right, you have to wait till you have Pup's, and then cut them off to start a new plant. Diana55

You could delve into tissue culture... but unless you have a reason to get that deeply into things, would probably be easier to wait on pups... not that tissue culture is terribly difficult, it isn't... but it might not be something you want to add onto your hobby-list. :)
