Sikki Pup

I have a Pup I would like to take off. The mother plant is about 5 feet tall and the pup about two feet tall. I would like to leave the main plant in the ground and not dig up the whole tree, since we have been a little warm in Ohio. Is this something I should wait to do or just dig up the whole tree and hope for the best? Again, this tree is planted in the ground and doing very well....

I have never done this before, but sounds like most of you dig up the plants to take pups most of the time.

I would post a pic but can't seem to figure it out.

Thank you for any help,

Dean

Thank you Laurence.

This is exactly what I was looking for...almost looks like my tree. :-)

Thanks again,

Dean
