Tough question. Doesn't seem to be any one way of doing it. I started a ton of seeds a week or so ago and i just put them in seed trays in compost (composted leaves) and keep the covers on them (moist). I soaked them for 24hrs prior to planting. Just remember that they take a long time to sprout. A month seems to be key with longer periods possibly needed. I'm hoping since its warm and humid time of year that they'll sprout a little easier. (Vs winter when its cold and dry). I plan on posting when i get my first sprouts. I've got Sikkmensis and Daj Giant going.

I hear that some seeds need a fluctuation of the temperature to sprout, and some like a scarifing to allow water to breach the shell...
