A few days ago I posted asking why the bees were interested in an unopened musella bud.

Well, I didn't think it was quite open. the bud is made up of stunted leaves and although a bit yellow is still not properly yellow yet, but today for the first time, the female flowers have appeared between the exact modified yellow green leaf bases as where the bees were showing interest. It must actually have nectar!
