Needs more water. Also, drip is not all that great on bananas, as they need the entire rootzone watered, not just the area around one dripper. Rootzone is shallow and wide. You are in a hot, dry environment (probably over 100 most days by now?)

Did you install the drip system yourself? Or know how to modify it? An immediate solution may be to get higher GPH drippers to get better saturation of the rootzone. You could probably pretty easily replace a single 2GPH outlet with a split and a couple 4GPH ones or have 4 2GPH drippers to increase the watering area (probably better). That would quadruple the rate and you could reduce the watering time.

You could also consider adding a mister to your drip system too to help with the humidity. I've been considering installing some kind of mist system on mine.

I did a good hand watering and turned off the drip. I am going to hand water for a week or two and see what happens. I think the problem is that I have a clay yard and with the drip I was only getting half the root zone. I also think I was watering too often and that half of the root system was getting to much water. Could that happen? Anyways I think I am not watering the root zone completely and that is what is causing the symptoms.
