ice cream banana (blue java) - where to buy?

Hi, I would like to buy 4 or 5 of these.... but having trouble locating.

Anyone have any ideas or recommendations? I would like to buy bigger than 6 inch guys if possible

West LA here, but internet order fine too

PS: these things should grow fast/well in west LA right?

They should grow just fine in LA. Try www.stokestropicals.com. They are located in Louisiana, not far from my hometown and I visit often. They have good plants.

I bought a Icecream banana at the local Home Depot here in Costa Mesa, OC less than a month ago. They had about 5 total. If your interested I can take a look on my way home and let you know if there are any left. 3' tall for $20.

I've noticed they've been stocking a few unusual trees lately. I bought a greengage plum at the same store last month. Waiting to see if it will get enough chill hours.

My local K-mart has them and several other varieties.
better selections than online.

cactusfreak, I didn't think to try k-mart for banana trees. How big are they and what price if you know. Thanks for the info.

Plants were over 3ft tall from bottom of pot to top of stem not counting leaf span and 24.95

The Ice Cream banana is a very fast growing. The plant is a green color with very large leaves. On eBay and lordy, you can get a lot of different bananas. It is found in South Carolina in United States.
