Im new to banana trees, and would like to know if i can produce babanas growing from a large container. I have one large conainer which has now three plants in it its probably the pups. shoud i remove the pups now and replant them. and when should i do that? How long doese it take for a tree to produce?

I can only tell you this: you would be better off posting in the palm forum, beacuase alot of them (and me) also grow bananas, and there is alot more people on that forum! best of luck!

oh, and the typical life span of a banana tree is 18 months, after it grows fruit (in no more than 18 months) it will die, and a new tree will grow.
