Really Big Root Ball

Hey everyone! I have a problem. My Zebrina plant is needing to be potted into a bigger pot. However there are smaller plants growing next to the mother plant and they all are connected to the root ball which is really huge. The only way to seperate them would be to literally get a saw and cut through the root ball. Would this hurt the plants if I did this?

That is basically how you propagate bananas... The damage is minor as long as each plant has some roots and they rebound fast. Protect the pups until they begin to put out new leaves....
