taking pups off??

Hi,I am currently growing my bananas in pots--22inches wide-16 inches deep.Do I take the pups off for more room or leave them? I am in central Ala & not sure which ones I can grow in the ground permanently other than my musa ornata & musa basjoo.Maybe you can help me on that too :o).I did build a 14 foot tall greenhouse for them last summer.I have Ladyfinger,Thompson,Manii,Ititerans,Red,Ensete,Velutina,Darjeeling,Thousand Finger,Muo Pao,Lasiocarpa,Dwarf Orinoco,Orinoco,Raji Puri,Dwarf Red,Dwarf,Mahoi,Ice Cream,Dwarf cavendish,Super Dwarf Cavendish.I have bananas on the Super Dwarf now.All of them have pups tho so I was really wondering about taking some off & repotting them.The pups are anywhere from 6 inches to 2 feet tall.Thanks in advance!!

Jan, how are you? I hope you can make it to the Fall swap. Lasiocarpa can be left outdoors. It may freeze back to the ground but will come back. I build a fence around lasiocarpa and fill it with leaves. Over the last three years the leaves will freeze but the stems have not frozen. Any lasios which were not mulched did freeze back to the ground last winter but came out.
