Dwarf Banana Tree Dying?

Posted by stacyindls TX (My Page) on

Please help! I have two dwarf banana trees in my backyard. One is flourishing and growing tall. The other is turning brown, shrivelling up, and sort of rotting in the center. Not sure if it can be saved or what happened. If anyone has any advice or suggestions, please let me know. It is greatly appreciated.

RE: Dwarf Banana Tree Dying?

If it started rotting it's a little too late to save it. It might have froze in your region that's maybye why your banana looks like this. Try to chop it down to roughly a feet tall, it might regrow.
