They always have a couple hanging around. Somebody back east had seen them there as well, which started the discussion, because the tag only says "Musa banana".
They regularly carry the forever leafy SDC over here.
It ould be rojo, which is carried by Home Depot most of the time. You'll find these in the ornamental sections of both stores, and they are taxable, fruiting or not.
Looks like Musa zebrina. The variegation on the top side can fade when exposed to lots of sun. If planted in a slightly shaded local the varigation will become more apparent.
