Will bananas that are not self fertile produce fruit?

1) Yes, "edible" bananas are not pollenated and are seedless.
2) No, seeded bananas are pollenated and are called "non-edible" because of the many HARD seeds and very little flesh.
If seeded bananas are not pollenated, the fruit will not develop.
