musa dwarf Cavendish queries.

so about 9 months ago I bought a dwarf Cavendish, it was 3 leaved and growing well! since then I've has 7 pups (3 survived) and many more I don't like grow on.

so my questions

as ypu can see I have a pot with a large corm. and a pup, I cut the main one down below the growing eye, the pup is the one I want to grow on, if I leave it with this corm, will it use that energy to grow as well as its own?

how to protect the cut. (I have powdered yellow sulfur)(and the obvious of don't touch the cut or get it wet)

I've in UK, I put it out though summer but it didn't grow only a single leave, so I've brought it in and will keep it in! is it likely to bloom at any time? (if so how to encourage it? (I herd that it needs a minimum of 30 leaves to flower?)

I have a mass of room to grow the plant as with other equatorial plants I have.

it's misted every other day and watered once a week (soil has moisture retentive properties)
what feed can i give? (things like manure or leaf mould or liquid feed if so what would you say?)
