Musa Luki

I just got a couple of musa luki's. I read something about them being similar to namwa which I also have. Anyone have both, tasted both? Comment on differences or similarities, taste or growth habit, anything. I'll hopefully be harvesting my first namwa bunch in a few months, barring the usual hurricanes.

RE: Musa Luki

It should be Misi Luki. They have many similarities to the Namwahs, in taste, and are absolutely delightful. Nice apple overtones. They are a little more slender than the Namwahs I have, and are about 9' of trunk at fruiting. Generally haven't needed propping. Very thin skinned. Nice light colored trunk and leaves. Consistent performer.

Thanks for the info, they'll go good with my praying hands which I finally got also, in the same trade.

RE: Musa Luki

Praying Hands is a great eating banana. Make sure they are completely ripe.
