RE: new musa zebrina HELP

I have grown this plant before but under different conditions. I bought a small one and hoped to revive it since it was growing outside and was very dry with crispy leaves. I put it in my greenhouse which is new and very hot and dry and repotted it into a slightly larger pot and water almost every day. The leaves are still getting crispy and I'm afraid I might lose it! Does it like lots of water even standing water? Should I give it slightly less light? I have most of the greenhouse covered in shade cloth. I'm in upstate SC now and the previous plant was grown in a sun room in NJ! Any ideas?!
