I just wanted to share this, I seperated a pup from my musa basjoo and planted it near my privacy fence. Shortly after planting it my dogs dug a hole there to escape the fence. The basjoo was shreaded completely torn to pieces.

I figure the banana was dead for sure, today I was going to plant an ice cream blue java there that I purchased on Ebay. To my surprise there was a new leaf comming up from the shredded plant.

I was shocked! I just wanted to share how hardy these plants apparently can be.
