Just a heads up... Anyone within driving distance of Cary/Raleigh NC...Campbell Nursery off Tryon near Walnut street is selling all tropicals for $1 each... I bought 9 plants and spent 9 bucks today on 9 tropical - 3 6 foot banannas of various types... huge elephant ears - 4 varieties - 2 hibiscus trees 5 foot ea 1 pink bloom 1 red...

Might go back tomorrow and take another look :-)

Also, anyone have winterizing suggestions? I want to put them in the ground...I've heard that once they have died off to the ground... just pile on some mulch and they will be back when it warms up... others have said they dig them up and put them under the house or in crawl space. I'd rather not dig them up. Thanks in advance.
