So this is my basjoo I got it a year ago, a really dead plant from homebase it had completely dried out so I tended it over winter and it came back alive. I planted it in front yard (it has sun all day every day!) it's partially protected from wind by a hedge.

As you can see there is some dusty millers with it. I know they are hit and miss. So hmm..

Okay I have chicken wire ready. But no straw/hay yet. When would you protect yours?
After a frost or before a frost.

Out day temperatures are between 14-25c and nighe 5-12c
