Now that I know some are tender and some are hardy I would like to buy one more ... I have been trying to read about the zones... I am a 7 on some or a 7a on other maps... I would like to get a Yellow Chinese Banana PLANT

to put outside next spring... Will this live in the ground here some of the readings say 6 some say 6-7 ... The last post one person said that they dont like pots (banana trees) Then I hear oh is ok to grow in pots... Do they go into a sleep stage where they need to be put up in a storage place?? basement in my case??? I have had one now for about 3 years and I put outside in a pot and then bring it in the house and put in front of a nice window.. Seems to have done ok..
