I have bananas on my tree every year, but they never turn yellow. They are not large, and I know nothing about them. but, the winter always gets them. So when do I cut them off? they have been on tree a little over a month. HELP

Good question. I have had Basjoo fruit on mine since February waiting to harvest the seeds. Still green and hard as ever.Someone told me when they ripen. Thanks but how can I tell ? Yellow would be an excellent clue but mine are not turning yellow.

Once they plump up you can cut them and hang in a warm area where they will eventually get ripe. I would leave them on the plant as long as it doesnt freeze
