hey everybody, not sure of the type of banana plant I have, but I have question about 3 pups that I have recently separated from the mother. This is my first year with banana plants, and in separating them I followed many suggestions that I read on these forums. After separating the pups, I replanted each one in a separate pot. Within a couple of weeks, all 3 started growing new leaves so I figured all was good. The problem I see is that the leaves are growing not as they are supposed to ( at least I don't think). Its kind of hard to explain, but all of the new leaves are growing out of the center of the existing stalk, and the stalk is not getting any taller itself. My question is if this is normal at first, and if they will start growing normally again? Has anyone had this experience before?
