Banana ID

I am very new to gardening. A former Boss of mine gave me a banana tree for me to grow. I planted this banana 3 years ago and it has since doubled. I don't remember what the name of this tree is and was wondering how I would go about IDing this tree?

It looks like a reg banana tree but this one is only 3 feet tall.

If you could just point me in the right direction, thanks

Anyone have a good link to help with an ID?

RE: Banana ID

Definately not dwarf cavendish. Check with the people at the other banana-forum.

Here is a link that might be useful: International banana society
